Ability Awakening Update Overview FFBE

Awakening abilities are abilities which can be enhanced to become even stronger. Awakened abilities are displayed with a different color icon on which their awakening level is displayed.

Awakening Abilities - Units

Your units' innate abilities can also be awakened. Just select a unit with an awaken-able ability then select the ability you'd like to awaken.

Here's a list of units with currently awaken-able abilities:

• Mercedes
• Seven
• Medius
• Kuja
• Lid
• Rain
• Fina
• Krile
• Roselia

Awakening Abilities - Materials

Awakening materials and gil are required to awaken a units ability.

Here's a list of awakening material in order of rarity:

• Alcryst
• Milcryst
• Heavicryst
• Giancryst
• Purecryst

Aside from the rarity, these crystals com in different types:

• White - Enhances white magic.
• Black - Enhances black magic...
• Green - Enhances... I'll let you guess.
• Power - Enhances attack type abilities.
• Guard - Enhances defense type abilities.
• Healing - Enhances healing abilities.
• Support - Enhances support abilities.
• Tech - Enhances all other types of abilities.
